Hello there!

A young woman with long wavy blonde hair smiling and holding a colorful flower arrangement in a cream-colored vase outdoors near a lake, with trees, houses, and a clear blue sky in the background.

My name is Nikki Ortega, and I am an artist based out of the River City: Jacksonville, Florida.

I do all things creative, but my portfolio mainly consists of acrylic and watercolor paintings, calligraphy services, and needle arts. I graduated from the University of North Florida with my Bachelor’s in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation and have been thrown in the professional art world since. My experience has taken me to the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens (where I sell some of my work) to now teaching art at a local high school. I was accepted into the Savannah College of Art and Design for my MFA in Painting, which I hope to attend some time in the future when my plans allow.

I hope you will take some time to look around, get to know me and my work, and possibly reach out to me on your next creative adventure!
